Meetings held
Raised for charity
The Metropolitan Grand Inspector visited the lodge. Bro. Noel was passed to the Second Degree. The Grand Inspector's letter praised the camaraderie and great feeling of connection between members and visitors alike.
WBro Mat handed the chair to Bro. Simon, the 91st Master of Fortis Green Lodge. Mat was invested as Immediate Past Master and presented with a Past Master's jewel his father once wore, while Simon took the position of Master for the ensuing year.
Two ceremonies in one evening: Bro. Gael was passed to the Second Degree, and Bro. Noel was initiated. Twenty-two brethren and guests attended.
The Christmas festive board dinner at Freemasons' Hall. A raffle, toasts, and guests from across London.
Bro. Gael was initiated into the First Degree of Freemasonry at Freemasons' Hall.
What holds it together
Freemasonry is not a secret society. It is a society with secrets, and with members who show up, year after year, to support each other and their communities.
